Workshop at the ERF2023

Workshop at the ERF2023

European Robotics Forum 2023

March 15th – Workshop on “Toward Multiscale Healthcare Robots”

Joint event between the Topic Groups Miniaturised Robotics & Healthcare Robotics

The objective of this workshop is to strengthen the interaction between the miniaturized robotics and the healthcare robotics communities. Developments in miniaturized robotics have resulted in multiple proofs-of-concept with great potential to be exploited in the healthcare domain. It concerns especially minimal-invasive surgery including (i) robotic intervention in confined space inside the body (e.g., in otolaryngology) and (ii) focused drug delivery via micro/nano-carriers (e.g., in the brain). It also finds application in cell engineering such as single cell sorting for biotherapies. This workshop will fill the gap and develop synergies between TG miniaturized robotics and TG healthcare robotics to promote and boost the development of multiscale robotic tools in healthcare.

We are thrilled to join the 10th edition of the European Robotics Forum and to contribute in the organization of this workshop.  A cornerstone event for the European Robotics community. See you from 14 to 16 March in Odense (DK)!

European Robotics Forum 2021

We wait for you on April 13th with a pitch on interventional robotics, by Riccardo Muradore.

The European Robotics Forum 2021 (ERF 2021), the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe, will be held as a virtual event 13-15 April 2021. The ERF2021 covers all aspects and current themes related to the field of robotics. Researchers, engineers, managers, and a growing number of entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and public funding officers from all over Europe come together to discuss technology push and market pull and how innovation in robotics and robotics-related AI can be accelerated.

European Robotics Forum 2020

The European Robotics Forum (ERF), the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe, will be held in Malaga, Spain, on 3-5 March 2020, at the Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Malaga (FYCMA). Over 1000 European robotics top experts are expected to attend the 11th edition of the conference.

ERF2020 will host a major exhibition where companies, universities and research institutes showcase the most advanced European prototypes, products, services and projects funded under EU’s Horizon 2020 research programme.

With over 50 workshops highlighting the newest robotics research, the event will offer a unique window to the latest developments on the European markets.

Official Press Release

Due to Regional restrictions caused by the recent COVID-19 health alert, we are sorry to communicate that we won’t be able to attend the European Robotics Forum (ERF) 2020 Edition in Malaga, Spain.

For this reason the booth reserved to the University of Verona could not be set up.

The workshop “Robotics in lighthouse areas” scheduled for the 5 March, will be conducted by teleconference (see below).

The decision was taken as a precautionary measure since the situation is evolving rapidly in both Italy and Europe.

We wish the Conference success and hope to see you all in June at the Hamlyn Symposium of Robotics for the workshop “Towards Robotic Autonomy in Surgery”.
